History
Established in 2008.
Most of the current staff at Buddha on a Bicycle originally ran the long established New World Crystal shop in Neals Yard Covent Garden. When the business was forced to close down at short notice, the current owners of Buddha on a Bicycle decided to found a new business in the covent Garden area, to continue to provide similar products to all the wonderful and loyal customers who had visited and supported New World. We found the perfect location with extra space downstairs to provide a therapy room for all the therapists, yoga practitioners and meditation guide who had also visited us at the previous shop. We have now been established for 5 years and going strong.

I so enjoyed meeting all the fantastic and enlightened people who came to New World in Neals Yard. I felt deeply drawn to re establishing a permanent space where many of these loyal customers could continue to buy the incense, Buddhas, Crystals, Jewellery etc that they had always been able to find in the previous shop. But also to be able to practise and offer to the public all their knowledge in their particuar area of expertise, be it: Yoga, Meditation and Healing therapies. I felt it was my mission to continue to make all this available in Covent Garden and Gilly my co owner and manager of New World agreed to come on board with me and share her extensive knowledge as a manger, and behold, Buddha on a Bicycle was born
